Join us for our annual Candlelight Tour of Liberty Hall. Experience the beauty of natural decorations that are inspired by the 19th century. A costumed-guide will lead you through Liberty Hall, as you visit with different costumed room interpreters that will share stories and traditions of families that lived in the Antebellum South.Visit the Civil War Soldier Encampment and learn about a soldier's life in the Civil War.
Tours will begin on Friday, December 6 at 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Saturday, December 7 at 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A new tour will begin every 15 minutes. Admission is $10.00.

Liberty Hall and the Kenansville-Duplin County Chamber of Commerce will be having an Easter Egg Hunt, Saturday, April 13th at Liberty Hall.
* Bring your favorite Easter Basket to collect the eggs you find.

Children will be divided by age groups. The first group will start at 10:00 AM. The Easter Egg Hunt is FREE.
Heritage Day will be April 27th, 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM, on the grounds at Liberty Hall. Learn about the skills that people from the 1800's had that they called, "daily life." All outside events are free. Cowan Museum of History and Science will be hosting a Earth Day Celebration. Events Different events scheduled all day.
An adventure into the 1700 and 1800’s. Hands-on activities will give kids 8 to 10 the opportunity to learn about Historical Games, going to school in a one-room schoolhouse, painting, story telling, and will help with the 4:00 PM Tour.
The space is limited to 20 kids. Applications will be numbered when they come in (via email or in person). Additional applications will be on a wait list and added if space becomes available (Follow the ticket link to print application). This event is $10.00 and includes lunch and a ticket for the 4:00 PM tour for one person (additional tickets may be purchased for $5.00 before 4:00 PM.
Liberty Hall Restoration is planning a most unusual tour October 26th from 6:30 - 9:00 PM.
Following a guide, one can stroll thru the house and yard visiting with members of the Kenan
family and visitors dating from 1736 until 1906, when the house was closed up at Annie Kenan's death. A new group of ghost are waiting to tell you about their life at Liberty Hall. $5.00 per person (TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT THE EVENT)
